BOOK TRADING POLICY
Soft back and hardback books purchased at A Sweet Read can be returned for in-store credit on book purchases at one-half the price paid when the book was purchased provided the book remains in good condition.
Books purchased elsewhere will receive:
- Paperback books - 25% of the original cost of the book (on average based on age and condition) as in-store credit toward the purchase of other books.
- Hardback books - $2.50 for each (on average, based on age and condition) as in-store credit toward the purchase of other books.
- Tapes, Cds, Children’s books and Oversized books credit will be negotiated on an individual basis for in-store book, tape & Cd credit upon receipt.
Books may be brought to the store for credit unless: The title is overstocked
- The book is in poor condition
- The subject matter is inappropriate for store display
- A Sweet Read management considers the book not a good option for re-sale
